True had a friend who grew up. They even admitted even in early 30’s they still struggled. B/c all they knew was cash, turn walk the aisle grab the booze ask for the cigs. Go put some cash in mom’s pocket to buy groceries. Then they were broke until the next chk came in. They called it, the mouse on the wheel effect.
