  1. I have had 2 friends die at young ages from different stage 4 cancers. Both healthy lifestyles: didn’t smoke; exercised; one organic food etc. I do NOT think that it is a coincident that both went vegetarian 7-10 years prior to deaths. I have seen people become unhealthy on SAD and on “healthy diets” with nothing in common except all were high carb diets (even whole food diet). Nothing AI or anyone else tells me can convince me otherwise. High carbohydrates (equal high glucose) are poison to humans.

  2. I love your voice. It lets me think about what you are saying. You are right on on the A1c. I was told that now that I have diabetes I don’t have to have as low a blood sugar as nondiabetics. The doctor told me this as if he was doing me a favor. I challenged him.

    1. Almost 2 years I’ve been eating keto/carnivore. Type 2. No meds. I’m 69 & my glucose is 94-109. If I do rise to 123 I review what I ate and if I ate a late meal, did I walk after eating. Good luck.

  3. Thanks Dennis! For over a year now I’ve been struggling with lack of energy and difficulty to get any good sleep. I decided to finally take your advice to test daily. This past week with my daily testing I saw my first 128 and 124 readings where usually I have been testing in the high 140s-180s…no carbs and no cheating! Thanks again! 😊🙏

  5. For some reason all beans 1/4 cup raises my glucose substantially. I guess I’m still insulin resistant?

  6. Many years ago I reduced inflammation dramatically on a WFPB (Whole Food Plant Based) diet. I also lowered my blood sugars and cholesterol to fantastic levels. The one thing I also lost a lot of was weight in which a lot of it was muscle. Unfortunately I went back to eating a SAD way and it ruined my blood sugars and I became Type 2 so now I have to eat low carb. I think if I never went back to SAD way of eating and stayed with the WFPB diet and added some better protein choices I would have been much better off.

  7. Lowering triglycerides is beneficial, but raising HDL is of no benefit. There have been pharmaceutical methods to raise HDL for 15 years. They had no effect on outcomes.

  8. If memory serves me, I used t listen to you on the radio back in the 80’s. That was well before AI existed.
