I remember when I was enrolled in Security Analysis and Portfolio Management. The professor told us that late stage volatility was precursor to a major correction. December 2024 post election is my guess.

I feel like there’s a prescient point in there about folks kicked back with their feet up thinking things are amazing since their stocks are trading at ATHs even though the demand (to keep them elevated ) might not Really be there.

When sun is there nobody think it could rainy tomorrow or storm. When we are healthy we don’t think we could get sick. So, portfolio always should be ready for the crash and market nowdays imo as well screaming about it, when it will start nobody knows it is just a probability and everyday we are getting closer and closer I guess. Even company shareholders selling internal because they also believe top is here or just right in the corner

my risk tolerance changed dramatically in the 4th quarter of 2023. not messing with any of these markets. the rich getting rich af. for average joe the only thing you can do is not take on any debt. i repeat no debt.
In Europe (don’t know wall street) the ultimate years there are very few stock exchanges and market still going up a lot. Now I know why. Thanks George.
