I’ve been trying to hit 10k steps but it’s a hit or miss. This will definitely help me a lot. Thank you!!

  • @shelliallibhai2114 says:

I started walking with my weighted vest 2 days ago! Yay! But I only average about 11K steps a day. Yes Audio books! Love love walking! 🤩🎉🚶‍♀️

Yea please do a walking vest video! I’ve been wanting to buy one. Thanks

  • @healing682 says:

I did 7k a day for 3 months and my whole body changed, I’m struggling to do 10k but 20k must be incredible, thank you for making this video. A lot of people think walking is boring and they complain about their health day and night. Really well done. Inspiration. I would recommend that ladies do take some sort of security with them, at least a safety whistle or something

    • @chalenejohnson says:

7k a day for 3 months is amazing! You’ve made incredible progress—keep pushing for that next goal!

    • @healing682 says:

@@chalenejohnson I relapsed because of having ME CFS, I’m pushing again and my steps fluctuate, I feel such a huge difference on the days I move but when I was up to the 7k ALL my cellulite disappeared, I was shocked, I also highly recommend air walkers, for people whom are homebound due to chronic disease, that machine is a God send, it aligns that back, less pressure on the joints, I love it

  • @thisismetoday7423 says:

I walked 20K steps a day for a little while and it felt like overdoing it to me. I feel like 10K is so much more doable.

Heck! I just want to get 10K steps in a day.😂😂😂😂

  • @slayqueen5996 says:

I try to do 10.000 steps before 10 everyday. Effortless skinny ❤❤❤🎉

    • @chalenejohnson says:

      love this so much!

    • @beebeeramone4641 says:

Do you do it fasted? Or do you wake up, walk then eat and walk more?

    • @slayqueen5996 says:

I find that it’s easier to do it fasted but some days I do break it up. It all depends on what’s going on in my life and some days I go past 10. I give myself some grace 😊

    • @cathyphillips679 says:

I joke with my son that I am on the 10 x 12 fitness plan. It started out to mean 10,000 steps by 12 o’clock, but I have recently changed it to 10 km by 12 o’clock. No problem getting this done.I do this fasted, only having had my black coffee before heading out. It is about 14,000 steps, give or take. I am going to up it again soon, I think. I am a 69 year old Canadian. I’ve been walking daily for about 20 years.

    • @JanineHyslop says:

      Wow thats impressive @cathyphillips679

Yes, please do a walking vest video! I’m thinking about buying one. And I’m going to join your Walk More Drink Less challenge.😊

I love walking! Work days I rarely get 2K. Hubby had hip replaced in June. He did great in PT but that ran out. We are doing treadmill & stationary bike. We increase time occasionally. I keep forgetting my weighted vest. I’m 65, he’s 69. (no drinking 6 weeks for me. for him 1.5 yrs) Your videos are the best.

  • @LLCoolJ_25 says:

I don’t force myself to get to a certain number per day. I allow for the days where I get less than the recommended 10,000 if I’m exhausted or it’s raining out. Most days it’s just become natural for me to take a 30 minute-2 hour walk one-two times per day. It’s luckily not hard for me to hit close to 20k steps almost everyday since I became more active. I also get up from my desk every hour if I’m not on a call to go get coffee or to the bathroom. When I work from home it’s even easier to get up from my desk more frequently. I find myself to be fidgeting a lot at my desk too, which does make it hard for me to sit for very long. It’s always been looked at poorly to get up from your desk frequently in corporate America, but I find it to be more productive when I don’t have to sit at my desk very long. It’s weird how humans have created a society where it’s frowned upon to want to do exactly what the body was designed to do.

I live in the city, walk everywhere. My car basically stays parked. Walking is so good. Have lost weight plus my man and I have the best conversations I think because walking isn’t so confrontational as face to face. Easier to kind of talk. We’ve gotten much closer. I feel so blessed.

  • @jovankaschnipke67 says:

Honestly! I get 10,000 steps in a day and I think that’s fabulous!!! 20,000 a day is impossible!!! I wish I had time on my hands to do that

    • @azleo4448 says:

      10k is great!

    • @sherridevries9144 says:

Same I do not have the time to get 15,000-20,000 with working 50 hrs a week, errands, and family stuff. I definitely can get 10,000-12,000.

At work running my CNC machine I can march in place most days to help get my steps in 🎉
