Gravy Recipe:
With your burner on medium high, start with 2 tablespoons of bacon grease, sausage drippings, or butter. Then add 2 tablespoons of cream cheese – OR 1 tablespoon of almond flour, and 1 tablespoon of einkorn flour, or you could try soy flour, coconut flour or lupin flour – anything but nasty white flour. Then add 1 cup of heavy cream and ¾ cup of water. Add ½ teaspoon of salt, ½ teaspoon of pepper, and ½ teaspoon of xanthan gum. Mix in as much fried sausage as you like, about 1/3 pound should be about right. Turn down the heat a bit and simmer until the gravy has the thickness you like.

Classic Southern Milk Gravy

2 tablespoons bacon grease, sausage drippings, or butter
2 tablespoons all-purpose flour (2 tablespoons of cream cheese – OR 1 tablespoon of almond flour, and 1 tablespoon of einkorn flour)
1 cup heavy cream and ¾ cup water)
½ teaspoon salt, or to taste
½ teaspoon freshly ground black pepper
(½ teaspoon of xanthan gum)
Mix in as much fried sausage as you like, perhaps 1/3 pound
Keep stirring/whisking from start to finish to avoid "Mr Lumpy"

  3. 💜 Cute as anything. 💜 Thank you for the recipes! 💜 Chat GPT gives this note on Xantham Gum: A 1-tablespoon (9-gram) serving of xanthan gum contains 7 grams of total carbohydrates, but because all of those carbohydrates come from dietary fiber, it has 0 grams of net impact carbs. 💜 P.S. I keep einkorn flour by Jovial in the freezer to extend its shelf life and bring it to room temp as needed.

  4. You both are wonderful to warch………however the video you did comparing Ezekiel bread to white gave wrong information ,because the amount of carbs in each was not equal!!!!!!One slice of whole grain Ezekiel has nearly twice the carbs of the white
