  1. I’m probably far from overweight… I’ve been maintaining a weight of 62 kg, a height of 172 cm, and a waist circumference of 72 cm for the past two years.

Fasting 12, 14, or 16 hours a day wouldn’t allow my insulin to drop to its basal level every day. That’s why I’ve been fasting for 18 to 23 hours every day for the past two years.

Yes, I mostly fast for 20-23 hours every day, and if I feel really hungry at the 18th hour, I’ll eat a carb-free meal (like a boiled egg), and then eat the three complete macronutrients (Protein, Fat, and Carbohydrate) during my OMAD session.

    1. Well done. I like the sound of this. Am 174cm and would aim for 64kgs but equally i would need to fast for 20 to 23hours and yes i would eat a boiled egg to break my fast. Even green veg seems to trigger my insulin spikes.

    1. If you finish dinner at, say seven at night, and stop eating – no snacks – by the time you get started at 7 the next morning, you have already fasted 12 hours. Then go in from there. If you can go to the next day, at 7a.m. you have gone 36 hours without eating, and so on, until you get acclimated to it and go longer.
Of course, don’t go too long in the beginning to allow your body to adjust.

  2. The way you lose weight is the way you keep it off. Flexible Fasting protocols is a lifestyle.

  3. I fast every day , but don’t loose wt. Because can’t stay away from process food. 😅😂but A1C stays at 5.7 for 4 yrs now.

  4. I’ve been fasting since I was 17 , I’m 45 . I do all kind of fasts . During the week around 18 hours and 24-36 during the weekend . Never done it for weight loss . I’m 5.1ft 100-102lb. I lift weight 5 times a week . Never understood the issue of “what should I do to stop / not loose weight “ just eat the proper amount of calories in the eating window

  5. i feel my throat uncomfortable (like acid reflux) everytime i eat a big meal as i am doing OMAD. Do you think i should stop Dr.?
