I’m in perimenopause and last year I had severe brain fog, and really bad insomnia. I made a few changes that I feel all combined have really helped. I started taking creatine, started taking a GLP-1, added magnesium and changed my bcontrol. The brain fog almost completely subsided, and my sleep improved along with noticing after about a month or 2 that even on nights that I didn’t get great sleep, I was still feeling energized. I recently have increased my daily dose of creatine to between 15g-20g a day. I can’t say I notice any huge improvements with my cognition, but so far I don’t notice anything bad. I got blood work recently and everything came back good. Personally I feel like creatine has absolutely benefited me, and if anyone is experiencing any of those symptoms to give it a try for at least a few months.

Yesss!! You are literally the poster child for stacking smart habits. Love that you listened to your body, made changes, and found what works. And same higher dose creatine didn’t blow my mind overnight, but long-term? Game changer. Thanks for sharing this!!

You just confirmed my reasons to take Creatine. I take 10 to 20 grams a day. My brain fog is gone! I was really getting worried I might have dementia. My mom, grandmother and 2 of her sisters have had dementia. I don’t use the brands you mention, but there are many good versions. The one from Dr. Amen is out every time I try to order. I buy at my local health food store or company websites. Love your videos! ❤

    • @chalenejohnson says:

Totally feel you! Brain fog is no joke, especially with that family history. And good news: Dr. Amen’s Smart Creatine is finally back in stock! Keep doing what works for you!

    Hair device? Thanks so much.

  • @jessieleclair650 says:

They say it doesn’t cause hair loss but I started losing hair like crazy after I started taking it. I also had to pee 10 times a night. I had to stop taking it.
