  4. Packaging of content really does matter the most. Some of our best performing videos/promotions actually contained less than average quality. It was frustrating to understand why lesser concepts were performing well, but it unlocked our world when we realized it was the packaging.

  5. Recently, a career consultant said that, instead of SEO, AI optimization is the big thing. In a world where people increasingly ask AI tools for answers rather than typing keywords into a search bar, the idea is that your content needs to be structured in a way that AI can understand, cite, and summarize. As someone put it: the new question isn’t “Who ranks first?” but “Who gets cited by the AI?”

    YouTube viewers initially judge videos by how they present themselves as well. 👍🏻

  7. I agree, SEO is dead! Sure it still makes sense to follow best practices for SEO, but to spend the time or money optimizing just doesn’t matter anymore. AI results in Google have changed everything. For the most part, any question you have, Google’s AI has the answer. No reason to scroll down the page to view the other results. This is slowly killing large and small media companies that make their living off driving traffic to their websites for Sponsor/Ad views. I could go on about this topic for hours but I’ll spare everyone.🤣

    Honestly what has worked for my business is short form video on Facebook. My audience skews older and they are all on Facebook. Between promoting the video to my Page Followers, and spending a few dollars with the Zuck, I’m able to drive a lot of traffic to our site. Story telling, relevant content, and the trust I’ve built with my audience has translated in to website traffic, sponsored Ad views, and membership sales.

  8. All right, so in summary, Gary V’s been mentioning the algorithm is more interest based in people searching… and be effective as you can on camera with storytelling packaging. I think we need to mention about having the endurance to continue long efforts of social media grind if your business wants to turn off.
