Mom Was Wrong About Money
Grant Cardone told his mom he had made his first million. Her response? Money wouldn't make him happy.
In this conversation with Tomas Martinez on TM3 Impact, Grant opens up about the mother he called his best friend, losing his father at nine, and why he came to question her advice about money and real estate.
From wanting to make her proud to hearing warnings about becoming a landlord, Grant reflects on how love, fear, and familiar beliefs can shape the advice people give. He also shares personal memories of his mother, Concetta, including an unforgettable trip to Las Vegas.
In this clip:
• Why his mother's approval mattered so much
• Her reaction to his first $1 million
• How Grant interpreted “I love you just the way you are”
• Why her real estate warning didn't discourage him
• The family experiences behind their different outlooks

It is pretty hard to have a life without money. Your job as a son is to look after your mum. The only person you take for granted until they are gone.
Getting rich is easy. Any fool can get rich. Being rich, that’s something else entirely.”
Thats not a saying. That is some of the dumbest sht Ive ever heard. Its not easy to get rich.

@SwagataDhara-p3z No idot. Have a nice day.
Man, I love you Grant, but youre missing for forest for the trees. Your mom was right, money isnt everything—she wanted you to know that there are things more important than money. You have kids, you already know. Is there any amount of money you wouldn’t give to save your kid if they needed saving? I’m not talking about spoiling them or protecting them for feeling sad or getting upset, maybe you’re soft on spoiling or maybe youre hard on it. Im sure even the super rich have a limit to how much they would spend on spoiling, even if they are soft on it. But saving them, there is no limit to how much you would spend. Thats because you love your kids (more than money); Ergo, money isnt everything. Money is great, but its just trees. The forest is how you choose to spend your money can enrichen your life. But dude, theres a deeper principal to this—when you use your money to enrich other people’s lives, there is a law that says what goes around comes around. If you spend your life enriching others, you will have joy like youve never known. And heres the crux—you can do this without any money, but having fincial freedom means you can reach further [more easily]. Love your content. Keep grinding for good.
Amazon will integrate SPX83K to their chains. Is this uptrend?
Standing over his mom’s bed just to check she was breathing at nine years old, that image will stay with me.
