My pancreas has a cyst which I have to have a yearly MRCP thankfully it is not growing.
My doctor refuses to do a fasting insulin says its not necessary. I don’t know if I am developing late onset type 1. because of my damaged pancreas.
it’s only $50 dollars to have a fasting insulin with a c peptide test. own your labs online.
Tammy you can go and have a fasting test on your own .
I’ve tested other people on my machine & they have huge spikes during the day, but their A1C is ok. So supposedly people with diabetes seem to have a pancreas that is too slow in bringing that blood sugar down so that their A1C is stable at ~5.6.
