Not a fan of Grant but hes pretty spot on here.
I don’t disagree…but people who don’t go to college are mostly worst off.
76.3 percent Americans who make 100k+ have degrees.
88% of millionaires graduated from college, 52% have a master’s or doctoral degree.
84% of the top 400 wealthiest individuals in the world have at least a bachelor’s degree.
May be a scam, but college is necessary for some fields ie medical school, wouldn’t want anyone from the street to take care of you medically
if you know what you want to be or have somewhat of an idea college might be good for you but overall looking at it mathematically the data points to passing on college. The financial strain isn’t worth the 100K job. As of today 100K isn’t going to move the needle unfortunately.
My bachelors was in business. It did very little to help me get a good job. But it enabled me to get my masters in something I love. I think getting a degree is still worthwhile. Just do it cheaply with no debt.
If School is so great, why are all the students crying about having to pay back the Loans?
