I Knew I Shouldn’t Do It. I Did It Anyway.

Grant Cardone started using drugs at 16. Looking back, he says the cost went far beyond the nine years he spent using them.

In this conversation with Tomas Martinez on TM3 Impact, Grant recalls the peer pressure he felt the first time he tried marijuana, how his drug use escalated, and why walking away felt especially difficult with his twin brother in the room.

Grant reflects on the years he believes addiction cost him, what he wishes he had done differently, and why he rejects the idea that drugs are necessary for creativity or success.

  1. Grant, I can not even at that young age, Believe you fell for peer pressure. That’s just wasn’t in my mind. But, maybe that’s one of the reasons your such a headstrong, no if and or buts. GET IT DONE! Kind of man. It was wasted years, but you got yourself a few, hell’ava lessons from it. Glad you survived and revived!

    1. @thehesterboy if by chance this was for me. Know that I was not criticizing Grant . He is someone that I just would not have believed peer pressure would’ve gotten him. He seems to have this inner strength, state of mind. So I guess, as I said, it taught him some lessons, that had made him who he is today.
