Is there such a thing as a good Diabetes Doctor? 😅
Try an endocrinologist that is a nutritionist! Yes, it is like shopping for a car, or dating! Ha!
Greetings from Ethiopia. That was really very inspiring. Thank you, Dennis.
Thank you, Dennis. My Dr. Didn’t even offer a Mike the Meter when I was pre diabetic. Instead keep eating the Standard American diet in moderation. Then I was Type 2. Toe amputated and God pointed me to you and reversed the Type 2. We need to have more control over OUR health decisions instead of the insurance companies . Love your shirt. Where did you get it from?

Your explanations are so thorough, thoughtful, practical and reasonable, which makes me reminds me that I must not become complacent about my own personal health. Thanks, Dennis. You continue to be a blessing in your community’s lifestyle choices!

Levels sells CGM for monthly $89 + $15 membership so about $104 per month (without any of other options) SO of course he says single measure glucose monitors are no good. He has to get paid 😂
It’s worth it, though! I had to ask my doctor for it, received a sample & it changed everything. You won’t have to wear it forever just until you figure out the spikes, duration, what foods work for you personally
Thanks from Bangladesh ! I enjoy your diabetic discussion but I enjoy your English deliberations more . I think you would make an excellent English language teacher!
That’s interesting. Thanks!
I was a CGM user at one time prescribed by my doctor and even with insurance was not cheap but it was well worth it for me. It totally changed my life.
Not cheap means really expensive.
@Trthsker24 Wrong
Since testing and then wearing a CGM , I often think we should be passing out CGMs like potato chips so we can see exactly what’s going on with out glucose levels.
The medical industrial complex, says prevention is not cost effective (for them), You as a non Doctor are too stupid to understand your body let the drs who are controlled by insurance and drug co. do it. In other words you are their cash cow don’t rock the cart. Doctor means educator, does that describe your physician? Unfortunately there are not many “Dr’s” out there so educate yourself as much a possible and don’t trust what a physician says as gospel, research what they tell and look at the facts, make your own decisions and be responsible for your own heath.
