This is insulting. I am most definitely an adult and I never spend more than 30 minutes in the grocery store. No one can select fresh produce for me and my family like I can. No one‘s going to care about the nutritional value as much as I do. You must only choose processed packaged foods that a shopper can select for you with their eyes closed. I get it that grocery shopping is not your favorite thing to do, but don’t judge the rest of us who enjoy selecting our own food. This post is very disappointing.
Agreed! This is a sales pitch.
She always says to tailor it to you. You couldn’t PAY someone enough to grocery shop better than you! You know your family and you are speedy. Therefore, you going Is THEE BEST option for you.
But you’re the minority, and this message is a great starting point for others.
My grocery day is social time. My daughter suggests I shop online, but in her next sentence, she mentions the mistakes they make in her order. If I make a mistake, that’s on me. Please don’t tell people how to shop.

I also do not feel that it is a gender specific obligation. Everyone in my family, regardless of gender, knows how to grocery shop and cook, and enjoys it. But I do not accept her declaration that those of us who do enjoy it, are not being adults.
Doing smaller groceries every day, or every other, is one of my favorite ways to vent mind, and be able to be creative. I live in place where i have shops in walking distance even for disabled me, and this is pleasure to move myself, look on colors (that i adore, but get tired having them in work space), listen to music, and get excited with walking through toy alley.
But i understand that for people who need less (even controled) stimulus, or need to use car, it may be better to order groceries.
