insulin resistance, diabetes, blood sugar, weight loss

Join Tom Wheelwright as he discusses how our brains are mismatched with technology, and how we can improve our higher brain function amidst digital distractions and sensory overload with his guest, neurologist and neuropsycholigist – Dr. Richard Cytowic.

Richard E. Cytowic is an award-winning neurologist, Professor of Neurology at George Washington University of Medicine, and author of Your Stone Age Brain in the Screen Age. In his new book, he traces the roots of our screen addictions, explains why we’re so susceptible to digital devices; how Big Tech takes advantage of our Stone Age brains to hook us on these devices and whatever products they are pushing, and discusses how we can possibly break their spell.

In this episode, discover how the overstimulated brain impacts productivity, business relationships, and overall energy, and how you can successfuly use technology, resist its addictive power, and take back the control we have lost.

Very interesting topic and information. I’ve been in tech for 40 years and I believe phones have given me some type of adult attention disorder.
I see with the young people that we hire. They seem to lack social skills and mostly walk around looking at their phones.
